1950’s Vintage Pair Taxidermy Deer Hoof Wall Mounts
I know your walls are in desperate need of some disembodied vintage deer hooves, so here I am to fill that void for ya!! These must have come from a rather large buck, as these are some of the biggest deer hooves I’ve seen in all of my taxidermy acquisitions.
These are a really great pair—they were made around the mid-century and would have most likely hung next to one another and been used as a gun rack. BUT, they make great coat racks, purse hangers, hat hooks, jewelry hangers—the opportunities are truly endless! Hell, they’ll look great adorning your walls regardless of filling any sort of utilitarian need. And, they can be split up and hung wherever is best suited for your gallery wall! Both hooves are mounted on shield shaped wooden plaques and are equipped to be screwed straight into the wall, as pictured. One hoof is slightly loose—as in, it can turn from left to right if forced—but it does not in any way affect its ability to be displayed as intended. Could likely be tightened with the right tools! Aside from that, these are in great vintage shape with no other notable damage! The pictures provided do adequately reflect the condition, but I am always happy to provide more upon request.
