1940’s Antique Genuine Alligator Leather Clutch

I’m in love with this gorgeous 1940’s gator leather clutch, but as I’ve only used it a handful of times to house my iPad, it’s time to pass it on 🖤

Hand-made in Cuba by Pelayo in the late 30’s/early 40’s, this alligator leather clutch is a stellar statement piece. Measuring 14x8in, it’s roomy enough to use as an iPad/notebook case for a study-day in, and still sleek and compact enough to hold all of your essentials for a night out ✨

It’s in phenomenal shape for its age, with only a couple of loose laces/stitching, and some wear to the handle, as well as some creasing in the flap area. There is a spot on the interior edge flap area where the leather is separating from the lacing. The exterior gator leather itself is close to pristine, with the scales still very much intact, and very little wear to note. None of these flaws affect its functionality. All of these flaws do have corresponding photos. The photos provided do adequately reflect its condition, but I am always happy to provide more upon request!
